Stratton Mountain Chalet
The Brief
Our clients sought a luxurious, high-capacity mountain retreat that could serve as the ultimate après-ski sanctuary for family and guests. The goal was to honor the rugged beauty of the Vermont landscape while delivering a sophisticated, modern, and highly functional interior.
The Brilliant Approach
We embraced an Elevated Alpine Modern aesthetic, balancing grand architectural scale with deep-seated comfort. By mixing rich, weathered woods and organic textures with clean, contemporary lines, we created a space that is both visually spectacular and incredibly inviting.

Smart Scale: We utilized the soaring vaulted ceilings to introduce dramatic statement lighting, anchoring the distinct living and dining zones within an open-concept layout.

Curated Textures: From the plush velvet conversational sofas and custom patterned sectionals to the monumental raw-edge wood coffee table, every piece was selected to invite relaxation.
Architectural Integration
The design team didn't just fill a room; they worked with the architecture. The custom built-ins framing the fireplace, the perfectly scaled mantle, and the integration of the rustic wood paneling on the stairs show a comprehensive, top-tier interior architecture service.

The Client's Need
A premier ski destination home that accommodates large groups of family and friends without feeling cramped or purely utilitarian. They wanted the classic warmth of a Vermont lodge but with a polished, high-end design edge.
Space Planning and Flow
Brilliant mastered the open-concept layout. The design handles massive vertical volume beautifully, anchoring the living and dining zones with intentional lighting (the globe pendant and the antler chandelier) so the spaces feel defined yet connected.
Custom Furniture Curation
Custom Furniture Curation: Highlighting the selection of deep, ultra-comfortable custom performance fabrics (essential for snowy gear) and statement pieces—like the curved, patterned sectional that perfectly tracks the room's flow, and the heavy leather dining chairs with turned-wood legs.
